DJ Frankie Knuckles hired me to decorate his home for the 50th birthday of his business partner Frederick Dunson. Creating the requested large scale decorations in a personal residence filled with guests is a challenge. I was inspired by Dutch designer Tord Boontje to create layered intricately cut-out designs lit with gently color changing lighting, all mounted to the top of walls in the soft-loft space (where walls do not extend to the ceiling).
